SupperTime President, Gerry Renert, was the co-creator and an Executive Producer of the preschool series, ToddWorld , 3X Emmy-nominated for “Outstanding Animated Children’s Program.” The series aired on Discovery Kids in the U.S. and in all major territories receiving a “Parents Choice” recommendation, two Humanitas Award Certificates and an iParenting Award. Mr. Renert recently produced a short film for Sesame Street and is developing two animated properties with UK based, Spider Eye Animation.
He has created broadcast stunts for NOGGIN/NICKELODEON, on-line advertising campaigns for DISCOVERY KIDS and written/produced/directed promos for HIT ENTERTAINMENT.
Before developing children’s properties, he wrote episodes for prime time TV comedies with two of his series being included among the top 101 best-written TV series ever, according to the Writer's Guild of America. Mr. Renert is a longstanding member of the WGA.
Mr. Renert is also an award-winning Children’s Book Author, winner of a “Mom’s Choice” Picture Book Gold Award with his title NATHAN SAVES SUMMER. The second title in the NATHAN series, NATHAN AND THE REALLY BIG BULLY, publishes in 2012. His first digital book, BRAVE ROONEY, has been featured in “Publishers Weekly” and received a star of merit from the “Kirkus Reviews.”
Liz Stahler serves as the company’s Publishing and Merchandise Licensing Director. She is in charge of setting up all Publishing and Merchandise arrangements for SupperTime’s properties and is responsible for maximizing brand synergy between the Property’s Broadcaster, Book Publisher, Home Entertainment partner and Merchandise Licensees. For all TV-tie in books, Ms. Stahler functions as the book editor on the Property owner’s side, to make certain that core brand attributes are not lost in the translation between creator, production company and book publisher. She has also published promotional books within the SupperTime Publishing Division for corporations and organizations like Stouffer’s/Nestle, Hilton Hotels and the U.S. Olympic Committee. Ms. Stahler also oversees an in-house Public Relations’ program directed to the Entertainment, Publishing and Merchandise Licensing trade publications. Since its inception, the company has placed well over a thousand stories in all the major trade publications.
Prior to forming SupperTime, she served as Brand/Licensing Manager and Book Editor for Wee Sing®, a multi-million dollar publishing line of audios, videos and books for preschoolers. To date, the line has sold over fifty million units through every major specialty and mass-market retailer. In 1999, Ms. Stahler was listed in License! magazine’s “Licensing Influentials” roster of key Licensing Industry deal makers.
