The company was established in 1995 as a hybrid of skills and an alternative to the typical means of creating and growing a children’s brand.
The company uses its creative resources to work with book authors/illustrators, publishers and toy manufacturers to help create and prepare original material, story treatments, etc. for the most appropriate entertainment vehicle and to help them sell those rights to the best entities. The partners have been nominated four times for EMMY awards, including three times for “Outstanding Animated Children’s Program” and have received two prestigious Humanitas Awards, three “Parents Choice” awards, a “Mom’s Choice” Gold Award and an “iParenting” award. SupperTime also utilizes its resources to create and produce breakthrough marketing and advertising strategies and materials, having worked with Fortune 500 companies and children’s TV broadcasters like Nickelodeon and Discovery Kids.
For Merchandise Licensing/Publishing rights, SupperTime works with property owners, including TV Production companies, to develop broad-based programs that emanate from strong, uniquely carved-out market positions — worldwide. The company works with all major U.S. book publishers and can also publish books directly for retail distribution or special promotions as it has done in the past for clients like Stouffer’s/Nestle, the Hilton Family of Hotels, The U.S. Olympic Committee and the PJ Library.
