About Us: Principals
Gerry Renert serves as the company’s
Entertainment Development and Brand Marketing Director and
is the co-creator of the three time
EMMY-nominated, ToddWorld TV Series, now into its second season
of new episodes. He works closely with each property owner
and is responsible for writing and creating all appropriate
development materials. Mr. Renert also develops the market
positions for all SupperTime
properties and their “on-paper” executions such
as umbrella theme lines, logo tag lines. He has created broadcast
stunts for NOGGIN, on-line advertising
campaigns for Discovery Communications and written/produced/directed
video promos for HIT Entertainment.
Prior to SupperTime, Mr. Renert served as Vice President/Creative
Director of AC&R Advertising,
Los Angeles, a division of Saatchi & Saatchi/Worldwide,
and has been responsible for the brand building of various
lifestyle, package goods and entertainment accounts including Hilton
Hotels, Bell Helmets, ABC Network, Carls Jr, Tomy Toys and
more.
Before developing children’s properties, he wrote episodes
for prime time TV comedies and screenplays for Warner
Bros., Penny Marshall Productions and 20th
Century Fox. Mr. Renert is a longstanding member of
the Writers Guild of America and a member of the Academy of
Television Arts and Sciences. He has been nominated for three
EMMY awards, received two HUMANITAS awards and numerous advertising
honors, including three CLIO award nominations.
Liz Stahler serves as the company’s
Publishing and Merchandise Licensing Director. She is in charge
of setting up all Publishing and Merchandise arrangements for
SupperTime’s properties and is responsible for maximizing
brand synergy between the Property’s Broadcaster, Book
Publisher, Home Entertainment partner and Merchandise Licensees.
For all TV-tie in books, Ms. Stahler functions as the book
editor on the Property owner’s side, to make certain
core brand attributes are not lost in the translation between
creator, production company and book publisher. She also oversees
an in-house Public Relations’ program directed to the
Entertainment, Publishing and Merchandise Licensing trade publications.
Since its inception, the company has placed well over a thousand
stories in all the major trade publications.
Prior to forming SupperTime, Ms. Stahler served as Brand/Licensing
Manager and Book Editor for Wee Sing®,
a multi-million dollar publishing line of audios, videos and
books for preschoolers. To date, the line has sold over fifty
million units through every major specialty and mass-market
retailer. In 1999, Ms. Stahler was listed in License! magazine’s “Licensing
Influentials” roster of key Licensing Industry deal makers.
