About Us: Principals

Gerry Renert serves as the company’s Entertainment Development and Brand Marketing Director and is the co-creator of the three time EMMY-nominated, ToddWorld TV Series, now into its second season of new episodes. He works closely with each property owner and is responsible for writing and creating all appropriate development materials. Mr. Renert also develops the market positions for all SupperTime properties and their “on-paper” executions such as umbrella theme lines, logo tag lines. He has created broadcast stunts for NOGGIN, on-line advertising campaigns for Discovery Communications and written/produced/directed video promos for HIT Entertainment.

Prior to SupperTime, Mr. Renert served as Vice President/Creative Director of AC&R Advertising, Los Angeles, a division of Saatchi & Saatchi/Worldwide, and has been responsible for the brand building of various lifestyle, package goods and entertainment accounts including Hilton Hotels, Bell Helmets, ABC Network, Carls Jr, Tomy Toys and more.

Before developing children’s properties, he wrote episodes for prime time TV comedies and screenplays for Warner Bros., Penny Marshall Productions and 20th Century Fox. Mr. Renert is a longstanding member of the Writers Guild of America and a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. He has been nominated for three EMMY awards, received two HUMANITAS awards and numerous advertising honors, including three CLIO award nominations.

Liz Stahler serves as the company’s Publishing and Merchandise Licensing Director. She is in charge of setting up all Publishing and Merchandise arrangements for SupperTime’s properties and is responsible for maximizing brand synergy between the Property’s Broadcaster, Book Publisher, Home Entertainment partner and Merchandise Licensees. For all TV-tie in books, Ms. Stahler functions as the book editor on the Property owner’s side, to make certain core brand attributes are not lost in the translation between creator, production company and book publisher. She also oversees an in-house Public Relations’ program directed to the Entertainment, Publishing and Merchandise Licensing trade publications. Since its inception, the company has placed well over a thousand stories in all the major trade publications.

Prior to forming SupperTime, Ms. Stahler served as Brand/Licensing Manager and Book Editor for Wee Sing®, a multi-million dollar publishing line of audios, videos and books for preschoolers. To date, the line has sold over fifty million units through every major specialty and mass-market retailer. In 1999, Ms. Stahler was listed in License! magazine’s “Licensing Influentials” roster of key Licensing Industry deal makers.
